Sold Mustangs # 701-720Page 36 of a history of Mustangs previously listed for sale on NZMustang.com FOR SALE: # 703 1996 Cobra (Withdrawn )
Details:
1996 Mustang Cobra. LHD. Assembled in
April 1996 (bar code pic attached) sold to Japan new and came here
through a dealer for his wife in 2005. I purchased it off him in October
of 2005 and am registered as a motor trader and have just had it on
dealer plates and driven on weekends for road tests etc. It has 86km on
the speedo. The current wheels are off a 2001 Cobra but the original
cobra mags are part of the sale complete with the Dunlop rotational
tires. It has been serviced regularly and I had ceramic disc pads fitted
all round about 5km ago. The photos tell the rest of the story as it is
a good looking Cobra and even has the SVT and Dealers manual plus a
sales booklet for the year.

Sold for: NZ$65,000 Listed: 17 Nov 2009 Sold: 26 Nov 2009 FOR SALE: # 708 1968 Shelby GT500KR (Sold)
Details:

68 GT500KR. The snorkel is missing from the air cleaner but will be included
with the car. 428 with an auto with a full console. It is an all original
sheet-metal body and had 1 full repaint back in the 1986. The car has not
been driven since 1989. This is painted it’s original candy apple red and is
factory black interior, which appears to be all original and in very good
condition. There is only 1 small seam tear in the drivers seat near the top
outside part of the seat as you can see it in the pictures. The rest of the
interior is really very nice. The car has ALL original glass and is very
clear with really no scratches in them at all. The bumpers are very good and
the rest of the chrome trim on the outside is fair. This car has not been
detailed for over 20 years so it can use a full detailing. The car was
started on occasion. The battery is out of the car right now but the car
will start right up and drive down the road fine. The buck tag is present
and also a Marti Report is on file. The car has 40,976 original miles. This
is very solid and really just needs a full detailing. The underneath of the
motor has a couple little drips coming from it but nothing at all serious. We can assist with shipping if needed (at the buyer’s expense) as
we ship both domestic and international.
Price: US$135,000 or best offer. Listed: 3 Jan 2010 Sold: 23 April 2010 FOR SALE: # 709 1968 Shelby GT500KR (Withdrawn and traded)
Details:
1968 Shelby GT500KR. 428 Cobra Jet Engine. 4
Speed Top Loader Transmission. 9" rear with 3.50 Ford "Traction Lock"
differential. Staggered Rear Shocks. The block, heads, intake manifold, bell
housing, transmission, and rear differential are all numbers matching, and
original to the car. The car runs and drives well just as you see it and the
car is mostly stored and driven very sparingly. Much of the original
interior is intact and in good condition. The steering wheel, radio, oil
pressure gauge, and shifter have been replaced. The engine compartment is
missing, smog equipment, correct air cleaner, S Tube, starter delay, and the
carburetor are not original to this engine. The owner has acquired all of
the correct parts and pieces for the interior as well as the engine
compartment with the exception of the shifter, carb, and starter relay. All
acquired items will go with the car. The original color of this car was Lime
Green Metallic, with black deluxe interior. A full Marti Report goes with
the car as documentation of originality. The original quarter panels were
modified in the 70's. The hood, deck lid, and related fibreglass items are
original to the car and in very good condition. The air conditioning is not
factory, but is a dealer installed unit. All of the sheet metal from the
firewall forward was replaced at some time and is not original to the car.
We do not know why. The car needs little TLC, but would not take much to be
a very nice and reliable driver.
I am forwarding this car listing for an
associate of mine. #'s matching except for the color change. The car
is very solid and can be driven the way it is or is a great candidate for a
cosmetic restoration. We
can assist with shipping if needed (at the buyer’s expense) as we ship both
domestic and international.
