BOP Completed Events 2004All USA Day : Sunday 28th November 04 We had a successful day on
Sunday with about 120 cars in attendance. Lots of
Mustangs with great support from Taranaki, Waikato and
Auckland Mustang clubs, and it was nice and fine. Excellent
support by the general public. 2004: National Convention, New Plymouth General coverage of convention 2004 is located here. incl a general club group picture. The pictures of BOP club cars below were taken by Tessa McIntyre. _________________________________________ 6 June 2004: Tauranga Classic and Sports Car Show Below are some photos from the Tauranga Classic and Sports Car Show that the club attended. The BOP club had 14 cars on display, Auckland had 15 cars on display and Waikato had 3. The BOP club was 2nd in the best club represented, with 3 members winning class trophies as well. MAY 23rd AGM Annual General Meeting / election
of officers and financial statements of the club, was held
on Sunday 23rd May. The following new officers were
elected for the club. _________________________________________ APRIL No events. MARCH. 29 to 9 April 04: Great NZ Mustang Run Tuesday/Wed 30th/31st 40th Anniversary of the Mustang came to town. We covered as a club from Waihi to Whakatane to Rotorua. This event went off really well in brilliantly fine weather. A great success and a credit to the club..

here 14th MARCH: SUNDAY GRASSKANA & BBQ A good turn out of Mustangs to participate in the grass
kana provided plenty of entertainment for all. Pictured is
Bart's oldest daughter showing Bart how its done, with his
youngest daughter having a go as well. For many of the
partners it was a rare chance to drive the cars as well and
all proved to be worthy competitors with some more
controlled driving than some of their sideways male
partners. Except for a bit of cleaning afterwards all
enjoyed the day which was finished of with an excellent Bar
B Que. FEBRUARY 12: PIZZA RUN Mid week event . Meet on Cameron road Tauranga outside racecourse by the church at 6.45. Run over the Kaimais. |
