Canterbury Mustang Owners Club

 The Canterbury Mustang Owners Club was formed in April 1981 with a membership of 30 Mustangs. Today the club has approx 120 members.
The club draws members from all over the South Island, with a large numbers in the Nelson/Marlborough region, the South Canterbury region, Otago and the West Coast.

Club Social Nights are the last Tuesday of each month. Please check the events list, as the event venue changes each month.
Club runs or other activities, are also held (at least) monthly.

 

Canterbury Mustang Owners Club members own over 120 mustangs, which include Convertibles, Coupes, Fastbacks, Shelby's, Bosses, Mach 1's, Sportsroof's and even some latest model cars. The club is very well represented across the model range, with many cars in original condition, some currently under restoration, a few restomods and a few real concours cars that are an absolute credit to their owners. A number of members are even fortunate enough to have more than one car. It's always a great sight to see the cars out on a run somewhere or parked up in social mode with the members enjoying one of the many club events that are currently the norm.

"Burble", the club magazine, is published 3 monthly in March, June, September and December each year.   It is chock full of photos, reports, jokes and other interesting snippets to keep members informed and up to speed with what's going on in the club. Last year, the club hosted the annual National Mustang Convention.  
This was held at the Westpac Arena and around Canterbury over Labour Weekend, 24 - 27 October 2008.
