Convention 2005: Newsletter # 2_____________________________________________________________________ NATIONAL MUSTANG CONVENTION 2005
AUCKLAND August 2005 Newsletter Hi There Mustangers Welcome to our second Convention Newsletter which we hope will provide you with more information on this exciting event. This 2005 Convention is shaping up to be a beauty with Allan Moffat, Tom Sharplin and more importantly all you MUSTANG enthusiasts. We are encouraging those folks with every-day drivers to show their vehicles because it gives the public a better perception of the range of Mustangs out there—not just those pristine show cars. So all Mustangs are welcome at the 2005 National Mustang Convention here in Auckland. CAR SHOW Until we know the final Car Show numbers we are unable to finalise the layout details. If your club is planning a club display and you would like us to allow for a group of cars to be together, please let us know by close of registration, Sept. 23rd. We have space for about 140 cars with interesting trade stands. WINDOW CARDS AMOC will be providing printed window cards as in previous years BUT we will not be taking photos of your cars as you enter the Car Show venue. Should wish to have a photo of your car on the card you will need to provide your own photograph. The window card will be handed out at registration on the Friday evening. REGISTRATIONS As of Monday the 15th August there have been 63 rooms booked at the Waipuna Hotel. BE AWARE. As there is another function being held on the Friday evening we have now secured 83 rooms. Once those 83 rooms have been booked there will be NO MORE available. Yes that’s 20 rooms left at this point. However on Saturday/Sunday nights there will be plenty of spare rooms available as we are the only function at the hotel on those nights. It is would recommended that you book NOW so you will not be disappointed. Ring Melissa now on 0800 800 315 to secure your booking.
