The Sunday Cruise-Quest.

The photos below were taken by Wal Marshall during the Sunday Cruise Quest. It poured with rain the entire day.

After a short briefing by club president John Camm, about 50 cars splashed their way out of the hotel car park on an approx 2 hour tour of the Manawatu. Along the way participants were kept busy answering a host of questions about features they passed

The tour took participants via Ashhurst, Colyton, Feilding, Halcombe, Bulls, Sanson, Rongotea, and finally Newbury where a very welcome lunch awaited.

(Rescuing a dead Car on SH 1 just south of Bulls. Just needed jumper leads to a fresh battery.. whew!)

6. At the Newbury Hall Lunch Stop

The run ended at the Newbury country hall where a massive lunch spread was laid out.. no one went away hungry that's for sure!!
