NOTE: NZ owners: If you want a copy of the song, there are several cheap CD's with 60/70's music which include Mustang Sally.
In particular note there is a double CD called "Peter Brocks Best Driving Songs" (CD Ref 9548379672), which contains heaps of cool driving songs, as well as Wilson Picket's version of Mustang Sally.
(This CD also contains a very useful map of the Bathurst Race circuit, with all the corners and straights labelled!) It is available from "Warehouse" for about $15.

1
Mustang Sally,
guess you better slow your Mustang down.
Mustang Sally, my baby,
guess you better slow your Mustang down.
You been a runnin' all over the town now,
guess I'll have to put your flat feet on the ground.

CHORUS
All you wanna do is a ride around, Sally (RIDE SALLY RIDE)
All you wanna do is a ride around, Sally (RIDE SALLY RIDE)
All you wanna do is a ride around, Sally (RIDE SALLY RIDE)
All you wanna do is a ride around, Sally (RIDE SALLY RIDE)
One of these early mornings
I'm gonna be wipin' your weepin' eyes.

2
I bought you a brand new Mustang
nineteen sixty-five.
Now you comin' right signifyin' a woman,
you don't wanna let me ride.
Mustang Sally, now baby,
guess you better slow that Mustang down.
You been a runnin' all over the town,
oh, I gotta put your flat feet on the ground.

I'm gonna be wipin' your weepin' eyes.......
