The Featherstone 40th Experience

The following story and pictures were received from Barry and Gail Featherstone.

"This is the car I bought to do the drive. I bought the car in Indiana and drove to the show in Nashville where I met up with the rest of the party. The car travelled a total of 11,835 miles from Indiana back to Indiana completing the round trip without any problems and averaged approximately 17.5 miles to the gallon, with no punctures.

The party in Nashville was awesome with thousands of Mustangs on show.  On the trip we encountered temperatures in excess of 100 degrees, dust storms, snow storms, hail storms, thunder and lightning.

We were interviewed by TV in several States and are still trying to get a copy of the tapes, we were interviewed by The New York Times which made it to Press.  (To see a copy click the image below)

Ford in Dearborn put on a excellent show and took us out to dinner."
