Wals 69 Mach 1 Cobra Jet

1969 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet. Ram Air option, C6 Auto, largely restored.
Purchased April 2007 from San Jose, the same city where it was built.

LED Hi Stop Light installed under the rear spoiler.
(The wiring is run within the spoiler and down through the centre of one of the support pedestals into the trunk)

Winter project 2008: Engine strip, balance, blueprint and rebuild, plus engine bay complete refurbishment.

428 Cobra Jet powered Mustangs were amongst the fastest standard production cars of their era,
capable of standing 1/4 mile times of around 13.8 seconds according to road tests of the time.
